Add a little sparkle this festive season at Eastlands

THE decorations are up and Christmas cheer is in the air as Eastlands brings the community together to celebrate the festive season.

Starting from 27 November, Eastlands shoppers will be treated to a unique holiday program to help ensure this Christmas is the brightest yet.

Activities will include a Santa parade, photos with Santa, charity gift-wrapping and a “Spend and Win” competition to inspire the whole family.

Whether you are looking to light up your festive season with decorations, purchase the freshest ingredients for your Christmas feast or find that extra-special gift, Eastlands has everything you need to make your Christmas shine.

Eastlands centre manager Craig Connell said he encouraged shoppers to revel in the magic of Christmas at Eastlands.

“There are many festive events, presents and produce to enjoy,” he said.

“The Christmas season will start with our guest of honour, Santa, and his friends “The Minions”, who will arrive at Eastlands on Sunday 27 November as part of our Christmas Parade.

“This event brings our community together to celebrate this special time with family and friends.”

Eastlands’ Christmas activities program:

Eastlands Santa Parade – Sunday 27 November at 10am.

Santa will be at Eastlands from 27 November to 24 December from 10am-4pm. Every child who visits Santa will receive an early Christmas gift.

Sensitive Santa sessions – Monday 12 and Wednesday 14 December 6pm-8pm. Sensitive Santa allows special needs children to visit Santa and take photos with him in a low stress environment. Bookings are essential.

“Santa Paws” session – Sunday 4 December from 4.30pm – 6.30pm. Customers can bring their pets along for a photo with Santa.

Gift-wrapping by The Salvation Army – Monday 12 December – Saturday 24 December.

A Christmas donation drive will also be held to source much-needed items for families who cannot afford them at Christmas time, including toiletries, nappies, washing powder and non-perishable food items.
