Who let the dogs out?

IT was a homage to all things pooch-related earlier this month when Dogs Day Out, a celebration of our best friends and loyal companions, returned to Rosny Farm for its 14th consecutive year.

Dog enthusiasts enjoyed a range of fun activities and entertainment on the day including the Best on Day competition held on the ‘dog walk’ for the longest tail; waggiest tail; owner look-alike and, of course, best dressed.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes took on the agility course and “doga” (dog yoga) was a real hit.

Attendees made use of the free advice from onsite vets and trainers and explored the ever popular Poochilbald Art Prize, held in the Schoolhouse Gallery and the Cottage.

The Poochibald Art Prize celebrates our canine friends in a selection of paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media and textiles.
