Volunteers recognised for dedicated service

THE Clarence City Council held its annual volunteers reception last month to recognise the valuable contribution, generosity, hard work and commitment its volunteers make to create a positive difference in the city.

City of Clarence 2017 Citizen of the Year Melody Towns acted as guest speaker, inspiring attendees with her journey as a volunteer to raise funds and awareness of the millions of women and children trapped in sexual slavery around the world.
