Join in the action at Howrah Kinder

By Brooke Sheppard and Ryan Boscoe*

ON any day of the week Howrah Kindergarten is a vibrant, welcoming and motivating learning environment for children aged zero to five-years.

A brand new building that opened in 2015 houses four purpose-built kindergarten classrooms surrounded by a newly landscaped playground, which provides the perfect setting for a range of outdoor play experiences.

Kindergarten students eagerly talk about how much they love kindergarten at Howrah.

“I love the swings and the monkey bars the most. I love painting and I love when my mum comes in to help,” Nerida Reynolds, five, said.

“Playdough and the fireman’s pole are my favourite things at kinder,” Sophie Boscoe, five, said.

Howrah Kindergarten also welcomes children aged from zero to five into the school’s Launching Into Learning programs.

These programs operate on Thursday and Friday mornings from 9.15am and pre-kinder sessions take place on Wednesday mornings at 9.15am.

For information about Howrah Primary School’s programs for young children please contact the school office on 62466 333.
