High praise for volunteers

MORE than 90 volunteers from 50 community groups and organisations in Clarence attended Clarence City Council’s annual volunteer reception recently.

The event, held at Tasmania Golf Club, was a chance to recognise and show appreciation for the many people who volunteer their time in the community.

Guest speaker at the event was 12-year-old Campbell Remess, the City of Clarence’s Young Citizen of the Year for 2016, pictured, who spoke about his project, Project 365.
