Fun and fellowship for Guild

THE Eastern Shore Trefoil Guild has been hard at work selling Girl Guide biscuits in the local community.

The Trefoil Guild is an adult section of Girl Guides which allows women who can no longer be Guides to belong to the movement simply by making their pledge, whether they have formerly been Guides or not.

The Guild meets on the third Monday of every month at the Shoreline Hotel in Howrah and participates in organised fundraising activities to support various groups in the community.

Planning is now underway for the 2018 National Gathering of Trefoil Guilds.

About 180 participants from Australia and overseas are expected to attend the event which will be hosted in Hobart.

The Eastern Shore Trefoil Guild is currently seeking new members, with plans to also establish a group for younger members.

For more information contact Jenny Wiggins on telephone 6243 4460 or Jane Hall on 6247 7367.
