Dental practice celebrates one year in Rosny Park

DR Chau’s Dental has celebrated a successful first year in its architecturally designed, purpose-built practice located in Rosny Park.

Relocating from Scott Street in Bellerive, Dr Chau’s Rosny opened in June 2017 to rave reviews from long standing patients, new patients and members of the wider dental community.

Principal dentist Dr Joseph Chau said he was “very pleased” with the response received in the early days of opening the new practice.

“During our first few weeks in operation we received an overwhelming reaction of positivity from our patients and the Rosny Park community,” he said.

“From the very beginning, we have provided a calm and comfortable environment for our patients, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.”

Practice manager Kelly-Jane Young said the positive reaction had continued throughout their first year in operation.

“We are finding that our patients are continuing to enjoy our new location and appreciate the relationships we are building with them,” she said.

“We are enjoying being a part of the Rosny Park community and consider it a privilege to provide our services to this neighbourhood and beyond.”

Since opening, Dr Chau’s Rosny has continued to offer high quality general dental care, along with a regular hygienist and visiting specialists.

Joining the Rosny team for the past few years is Dr Simon Hinckfuss.

A Melbourne-based specialist, Dr Hinckfuss is a periodontist who focuses on the management of periodontitis, cosmetic periodontal plastic surgery and the surgical placement of dental implants.

“We feel very strongly in providing the best dental care available and consider it a great benefit to our patients that we offer the specialist services of Dr Hinckfuss on a regular basis at our Rosny practice,” Ms Young said.

Dr Chau said their team of skilled clinicians and support staff believed in a patient-centred approach.

He said this approach was respectful to individual needs and values, ensuring it guided all clinical and administrative decisions.

“Our dentists Dr Coreen Ho and Dr Justin Huang, along with hygienist Lucy Nichols, combine to create a dynamic team of extensively trained clinicians who believe in providing our patients with an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through our door,” he said.

The $1.3 million spent on the fit-out and equipment was able to be completed without increasing fees to patients, which was an important consideration to the team at Dr Chau’s Dental.

“By reserving funds for future development, we have been able to provide this expansion without impacting our patients and have achieved our goal of investing into our patient’s continued dental care,” Dr Chau said.

As an accredited practice, Dr Chau’s operates under government regulated guidelines with processes in place to ensure compliance with strict hygiene procedures and infection control.

Along with the practice in Macquarie Street, Dr Chau’s offers preventative and cosmetic dentistry, paediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics.

With services including cosmetic whitening, root canal treatment, implants, mouthguards, Somnomed snoring devices, ClearCorrect orthodontics and porcelain, gold, procera and E-Max Crowns, this is a practice that can meet all your dental needs.

The team at the Rosny Park location pride themselves in offering a modern and welcoming practice built specifically with the needs of patients in mind, but it is the total patient experience that they consider as a top priority.

“As a patient of ours, you become part of our dental family and you can feel confident that you will receive an exceptional dental experience,” Dr Chau said.
