Cleaning up the Plains

CLEAN Up Australia Day weekend is just around the corner, and One Community Together will once again be holding its annual community space clean ups on Saturday 2 March.

So, don some old trousers and a long sleeve shirt, slip on some sunscreen, put on a wide brimmed hat, some sturdy footwear, a pair of heavy-duty gloves and grab a re-fillable bottle of water.

Known as the ‘Clarence Plains Spring Clean: Clean the Plains’, the event will be held across two sites – the Rokeby and Clarendon Vale Neighbourhood Centres.

Both events will be held from 9am to 1pm, with a free barbecue to follow.

The Rokeby event will be held at the Rokeby Neighbourhood Centre, located at 85 Tollard Drive.
