THE Clarence District Football Club (CDFC) Past Players and Officials Association has reformed with a new energised committee and is calling all former players, officials and supporters to join.
The committee provides past players and officials the opportunity to stay connected with the club and to continue the friendships built over the club’s rich history.
CDFC Past Players and Officials Association president Blair Brownless said the association was determined to see the football club succeed on the field and return to regularly playing in finals as it had so proudly done over the past five decades.
“I urge all past players, officials and supporters to unite and join our newly formed association,” he said.
“We have enjoyed some wonderful times at the club and now it’s time to give back to make the club great again.”
Foundation membership has been set as a one-off $50 payment.
All money raised will be reinvested into the club to make sure it’s successful today and into future seasons.
The association is proudly supporting the following events and would like to see as many past players and officials return to rekindle the past and support:
- Daniel Hulm Memorial Golf Day – Friday 21 February.
- Past Players and Officials Launch Function – Good Friday 10 April v Lauderdale.
- 50 Year Anniversary 1970 Premiership Team (Bingley/Linton Cup) – Saturday 23 May.
- Red and White Ball – Saturday 6 June.
- 2000/2010 Premiership Reunions – Saturday 1 August.
