Bunnings Mornington welcomes local team members

MORE than 60 new recruits are now official team members at the new $31 million Bunnings Warehouse Mornington complex, which opened earlier this month.

They are joined by the existing team transferring from Bunnings Rosny Park, taking the total team to more than 110 members.

Bunnings Warehouse Mornington complex manager Brad McArthur said he was excited to welcome the new employees.

“Bunnings provides a wide range of meaningful career development options for all team members and I am confident our new recruits will relish the opportunity to learn and grow with us,” he said.

In recent months, the Mornington team has been lending a hand in the community by supporting local groups with hands-on projects.

AT Li-VE Disability Services, the team gave the courtyard a make-over by cleaning up the fish pond, painting a retaining wall and installing some new furniture.

The RSPCA has also received a refresh thanks to the team installing new lino on the floors.

Mr McArthur said customers would also have the opportunity to learn new skills with the store’s range of free hands-on do-it-yourself workshops for adults and children delivered by team members every weekend.

Bunnings Warehouse Mornington is located at 25 South Arm Highway, Mornington.
