Big sales usher in 10-years of trading

A DECADE of providing quality service to the Eastern Shore community is a big cause for celebration at Harvey Norman Cambridge Park.

That is why the retailer is celebrating its 10th anniversary milestone with a range of massive sales storewide for the entire month of April.

“We’re inviting the local community to pop into the store and help us celebrate by checking out the unique offers we have running across all our divisions,” Harvey Norman Cambridge Park bedding proprietor Craig Tabor said.

“This includes bedding, computers, electrical, furniture, flooring and commercial sales – we are the one-stop shop for all your home fit-out needs, something that is unique to the Harvey Norman brand.

“We will also be doing a letterbox drop, so keep an eye out for information on all the great deals we have running for our birthday month.”

Harvey Norman Cambridge Park threw open its doors in April 2008 and now boasts the title of the largest Harvey Norman retail space in Tasmania.

The store services the entire Eastern Shore region from Sorell, Cambridge and Richmond up to Swansea, Bicheno and Port Arthur.

Since its opening, the Cambridge Park complex has grown substantially and includes other retailers including Red Square Café, Luma, Nick Scali, Anaconda and Super Cheap Auto, to name a few.

“Just 20-years ago, the Cambridge Park site was just sheep and pasture and now it is a booming retail complex,” Mr Tabor said.

“Since our inception, Harvey Norman has been providing big support for the local economy, employing more than 60 staff members – all of whom live locally.

“This local connection means that our store has a strong presence in the Eastern Shore community – we are all locals who want to see the best for the area.

“We try and get involved with community activities as much as possible, including making donations to local schools and sponsoring local sporting clubs.”

Mr Tabor said excellent customer service was the store’s number one priority.

“All our employees are professionally trained and specialise in their selected fields, not to mention that we are all very nice, friendly people,” he said.

“We are also particularly proud of our state-of-the-art photo centre, which is ranked in the top 10 in Australia.

“This centre has proved very popular with our customers and offers same day printing or through our online site, frames, albums, gifting ideas, enlargements, restorations, canvas and collage prints.

“We are always striving for success in each of our areas and look to support Australian businesses where possible by stocking Australian-made products.”

Harvey Norman Cambridge Park is located in the Cambridge Park complex, which has all day free parking with more than 800 car parks.

It is open seven-days-a-week and online shopping and pick up are available.
