Beltana named nation’s best bistro

LINDISFARNE’S Beltana Hotel has been crowned Australia’s best bistro at the Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence.

Restaurant manager Jess Curtis said the whole Beltana team felt incredibly proud to be recognised on a national level.

“It is also an amazing thing to have a Tassie restaurant listed as Australia’s best regional bistro,” she said.

Ms Curtis said Beltana Hotel staff prided themselves on great service and quality local produce served in a family-friendly venue.

“We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and going above and beyond to create an amazing experience to remember for our customers,” she said.

“We are also very proud of our menu with our share boards being our most popular.

“Our customers love the sharing option while socialising over a local wine and soaking in the amazing view.”

The Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence ceremony, which was held at the Gold Coast’s RACV Royal Pines Resort, celebrated the shining stars of Australia’s hospitality and accommodation industry.

More than 460 people attended the event that featured venue and individual honours, with winners in various sectors across the industry recognised.
