Located at 189a Derwent Avenue in Lindisfarne, this health club tailors specialised health and fitness programs planned in consultation with each individual member. Experienced Tasmanian personal trainer and owner Stuart Thomas says My Lifestyle Connection focuses on providing great service and support. “We provide people with guidance throughout their program to ensure they are doing it right and getting results,” he said. “I know many members of gyms and fitness clubs don’t enjoy big classes, crowds and noise, so I’ve set out to create exactly the opposite atmosphere.  My Lifestyle Connection owner Stuart Thomas, standing, with a client The health club focuses on lifestyle and programs are designed to suit the particular needs of each client, taking all the different aspects of their life into account. “We tailor programs for someone who wants to improve their fitness so they can enjoy a round of golf or the occasional bushwalk, for athletes competing in competitive sport or for a person who simply wants to enjoy a healthy lifestyle by getting involved in an exercise program that’s realistic, enjoyable and fun,” Stuart said. Stuart has also found a lot of people dislike long contracts which are difficult to change or adapt to their circumstances, so My Lifestyle Connection offers a range of short term flexible membership and program options. The health club is open to all ages and offers a range of specialised, short term lifestyle programs that target factors such as weight loss and recovery from illness or injury.
