| First tennis tournament a great success |
THE Westpac Sorell junior tennis tournament was successfully held for the first time last month.![]() Bryana Mcilwain and Thomas Boxall give each other a ‘high five’ for effort. The first-ever junior tournament of players aged between 9 and 16 and hosted by the Sorell Tennis Club, was well patronised with 35 participants from all ages. Organisers say the tournament was a great success and with continued support by local businesses and individuals, is likely to be an annual event. ![]() 10-year old Tayla Mcilwain shows off her racquet with pride.
