THE Eastern Shore’s wonderful Lincoln Singers will entertain us again this month with their annual Christmas concert in the Lindisfarne Citizens Activities Centre. Musical director and conductor Margot Lampkin said that the concert would conclude a great year of celebrating the choir's 10th anniversary. ![]() The wonderful Lincoln Singers are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year. The Christmas concert will include many of the songs that the choir named as their favourites from the past 10 years. Since the mid-year performances, the choir has taken the 10th anniversary concert to Launceston, Cygnet and Orford, to standing ovations from delighted concert-goers. The Christmas concert includes many of the songs that the choir named as their favourites from the last 10 years, from Beethoven's Creations Hymn and Cesar Francke's Panis Angelicus right through to Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water and John Lennon's Imagine. Choreographer Pam McFarlane will present her ever-delightful song and dance routine, this time to Day by Day from Godspell. The performances are on Saturday 24 November and Sunday 25 November beginning at 2pm and tickets are available now from the Lindisfarne newsagency and the customer service desk at Eastlands at $15 with $12 concession and $5 children. As usual, the concerts will include a complimentary afternoon tea and a raffle of a beautiful Christmas hamper.
