LUNCHING with the Dragon at Venus, and how busy was the bistro? We nabbed the last table in the place. We shared some entrees - scallops wrapped in prosciutto from the specials board, prawn fritters with lime and mint mayonnaise, and risotto balls with pumpkin, sage and fontena cheese from the daily menu. The staff are the happiest people on the planet. We didn't make it to desserts: however, they did have a display case of goodies. Then we headed off to see Hairspray at the Eastlands cinema. What a hoot!
