Waterfront Hotel, Sails Cafe (downstairs on the promenade), Bellerive 6244 2333
THE Gadd Street gadabouts were in town for a visit before the younger gadabout headed off to France for a three-month stay on a high school visit, so we headed over to the Bellerive Waterfront Hotel for a meal at dusk, dining downstairs to take in the best views of the marina.

The younger gadabout decided to have a steak and salad, and the two geriatrics in the party opted for the seafood and chips. Prawns, salt and pepper squid, fish and crisp chips arrived wrapped up in a paper cone. Service is pleasant and efficient, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
