Castle Zayee, 52 Creek Road, New Town (6228 9874)
EVER since Sen's departed the North Hobart restaurant scene, getting a yum cha hit has been a bit tough. So, upon hearing on the grapevine that you could get yum
cha at the Castle, we decided to head off to the western shore and check it out.

Starting off with an appetiser of pickled vegetables (exceptionally good), followed by har gau (prawn dumplings) and we were off to a good start for our lunch. Followed those two dishes with barbecued pork and baby bok choy, then THE best barbecued duck and rice I have had outside of Hong Kong.

The duck had been cooked perfectly - crunchy skin and totally succulent meat. There were quite a few people in the restaurant for lunch and we were certainly happily replete. And the prices are
most reasonable, too.
