The Fish Bar at Bellerive, 51 Queen Street (6244 1074)
FATHER'S Day and it was unbelievable at the Fish Bar at Bellerive. The staff were flat out keeping up with the flood of takeaway purchasers and every seat taken up by diners in the small restaurant. Michael King, the owner, was flat out like a lizard drinking!

The park across the road was ‘chockers’ with people enjoying a glorious day, and takeaways from the Fish Bar plus picnics. I went to the Fish Bar with one of my
daughters and her boyfriend and we had a variety of dishes - I opted for the small seafood basket (which was still huge) and other dishes enjoyed by the table were fish and chips, Thai fish cakes, and dim sims. My marinated fish in the seafood basket was, as usual, a knockout. The fish is so fresh it is a delight.
