Co-partner Bob Hardy said: "The fruit tree blossom has been especially spectacular this year because of the many frosty nights in June.

Visitors enjoying the beautiful foliage of the Sorell Fruit Farm.

"We started with a good early peach blossom in the end of July.  This was followed by apricot blossom in August and then especially large and highly-coloured peach and nectarine flowers early this month.

"Now the cherry trees have erupted with their spectacular cascades of delicate white and light pink flower."

"We invite visitors to stroll among these beautiful blossoms that are a buzz with hard-working bees. It is one of the great experiences of spring."

There is no charge for entry into the orchard and visitors can relax in our garden with an excellent coffee, plus a snack, or a gourmet lunch, all on a cherry theme.”

“Our chef Sarah Woodward has just returned from the winter in Queensland and promises some very special dishes, including hotcakes with cherry liqueur
sauce for breakfast and chicken with savoury cherry sauce for lunch.

“You can also check out the progress with this year's fruit crops with the
first strawberries expected about mid October.”
