Getting a jump ahead
STUDENTS from Kindergarten to Year 6 participated in the Jump Rope For Heart ‘Jump Off’ at Lindisfarne North Primary recently.

The weather was kind to students and teachers, and the school was able to participate in a range of skipping activities planned by the daily phys ed leaders, aimed at increasing skipping skills, an active and healthy lifestyle and leadership skills with the senior students.

Daily phys ed leaders worked with the school coordinator in planning activities for their group of children using skipping ropes, hoops and large balls to include variety in the skipping activities.

The Jump Rope For Heart mascot ‘Happy Heart’ also participated, along with parent volunteers and staff.

All students were presented with certificates of participation for their fine efforts during the ‘Jump Off’, and the daily phys ed leaders excellent leadership skills were acknowledged in the school assembly with certificates for their fine leadership skills which were demonstrated during the ‘Jump Off.

All members of the school community should be congratulated for their efforts on the day. Well done everyone!
