PCYC Reclink program a success in Sorell
A NUMBER of young people living in the Sorell community participated in a survey during youth week that identified the need for an increase in the recreational activities run in the area. Council is addressing this need is through the PCYC Reclink program which provides positive recreational activities for young people. The program involves PCYCs from Glenorchy, Hobart and Bridgewater bringing along a group of young people to play football and share a barbecue lunch with young people living in Sorell.

Council’s partnership with the PCYC Reclink program allows monthly activities to be held in Sorell, allowing the young people to build team skills and interact with young people from other areas of the state.

For further information on this program, phone council’s senior youth development officer on (03) 6265 6449.
