THE LANSDOWNE CAFE

68 Lansdowne Crescent West Hobart 6234 6386

My daughters took me to this little place for brunch. It is extremely busy, and you really should book.

Between the three of us, we had bagels ($5) with a trio of jams (raspberry, apricot and marmalade) and fruit toast, coffees, orange juice (real $3.50) and organic Lucaston apple juice. A lovely way to start a Sunday.

They do a roaring trade in takeaways as well. At a table adjacent to us, a couple was happily eating heftier fare - lots of eggs. It's a pleasant, busy space. The email address is This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
