PEMBROKE HOTEL

Main Street, Sorell 6265 244

Lady Letitia and I caught up after my Top End trip, and decided to go out to the Pembroke Hotel at Sorell.

We started with the trio of dips with bread. The dips change, so check with the incredibly cheerful waiting staff. We both felt like steaks - so I opted for the T-bone steak, served rare - what a serve it was. I was struggling when it came to the vegetables, and so I gave up altogether, and decided to go vegetarian for the week after all that smashing protein. The chef is doing a great job.

There were lots of people there enjoying all manner of good dishes. Lady Letitia decided to have the rump. She was also well pleased with her meal. We dropped in to see Lance in the refurbished bottle shop, but he had the day off. The Pembroke is only a short drive on the Eastern Shore, and I am sure you won't be disappointed.
