| SHIELD PRESENTED WINNERS OF BOWLS COMPETITION |

A PERPETUAL shield has been presented to the Howrah Bowls Club to record the winners of the Autumn triples handicap competition. The competition was held over two months with the finals last month.  Shown receiving the shield from Alison Ritchie is George Hindley, from left, Graham Britcliffe and Geoff Cooper. The winning team was George Hindley skip, Graham Britcliffe, Geoff Cooper and John Zagni. The shield was donated by Pembroke MLC Allison Ritchie. The competition will be known as the Allison Ritchie Autumn Triples Handicap Competition The Howrah Bowls Club has a very busy program of events right through the year. Anyone wishing to join the Club should phone the secretary on 6247 8861.
