SHIELD PRESENTED WINNERS OF BOWLS COMPETITION

A PERPETUAL shield has been presented to the Howrah Bowls Club to record the winners of the Autumn triples handicap competition. The competition was held over two months with the finals last month.

A total of 16 teams took part, with representatives participating from a wide range of clubs from southern Tasmania.

The winning team was George Hindley skip, Graham Britcliffe, Geoff Cooper and John Zagni. The shield was donated by Pembroke MLC Allison Ritchie. The competition will be known as the Allison Ritchie Autumn Triples Handicap Competition

The Howrah Bowls  Club has a very busy program of events right through the year. Anyone wishing to join the Club should phone the secretary on 6247 8861.
