Pharmacy has right prescription for success
THE Wentworth Pharmacy opposite Clarence High School, has certainly taken on a whole new meaning in customer service. Owner and pharmacist Myles Britza has recently put in place some great initiatives that not only provide the traditional pharmaceutical needs for customers but also some excellent complementary services which have already significantly diversified the business.

The most recent innovation is the establishment of a magnificent beauty therapy salon run by certified therapist, Simone Scharner who is offering the full range of beauty treatments for clients to the pharmacy.

They include the full range of gel nail colours (from more than 100 different colours) a complete range of facials specific to client needs, waxing, eyebrow and eyelash tint, massage and tanning.

The products that Simone is using for facial treatments are from the Thalgo range, specialists in marine beauty care for more than 30 years.

“Winter can be very harsh on skin and it is really important that we spend more time looking after skin through the cold and windy winter months,” Simone said.

“Facials help with hydration, lipid boosting and assist in treating problem skin,” she said.

Another product developed by Thalgo is the wrinkle control system which treats the underlying cause of wrinkles.  Simone said a number of treatments can be developed according to each skin type.

“We work with our customer’s skin in the salon and then encourage home treatments to ensure that in between sessions, the skin is being well looked after.”

Simone has extensive experience in beauty therapy and has a diverse client base.

“What I am finding is that many of my clients have followed me from the city because they love the fact that they can park right outside and can also come into the salon after hours or on Saturdays and have a leisurely treatment without any pressure.

“We really focus on customer service and client care.”

The pharmacy has regular child health nurse services so mothers can come in and talk about their issues and concerns.  Baby massage will be introduced shortly on a regular basis.

“We are looking to present Wentworth Pharmacy as a pharmacy with a difference. We care about our customers and we are providing friendly, helpful service in a range of areas to meet customer demand,” Myles said.

Wentworth Pharmacy is open from 9am till 7pm weekdays and on weekends till 5pm.

You can make appointments for beauty treatments with Simone on 6244 5858 or if you need any other assistance, talk to the friendly staff at Wentworth Pharmacy.
