Geoff’s on the right road to recovery after bypass surgery

FORMER Howrah businessman and current Tasmanian Cricket Association director Geoff Rowlands would be the first to admit he is a very lucky man.  He would also be the first to urge others, who see the first signs that ‘something is ‘not right’, to seek immediate attention before it is too late.

A NATIONAL report  has found that for the majority of Australian workers, being able to see is fundamental to being able to do their job. Despite this, working Australians are still taking part in activities that can increase the risk of eye disease, including more than one in four who admit to regularly smoking.

Grant and Jasmine Hopwood who run the very busy Bakers Delight in Lindisfarne said the special national fund-raising campaign was a great success with $2165 raised in Lindisfarne alone. In fact the effort topped the national average of Bakers Delight stores around the country.
